Personal Profile
Clare Webb
I love to abstract a landscape and work with line and movement to strip the painting back to texture and form. Constantly exploring the combinations of mixed media and anything to hand in the garden shed. I love to experiment with layering and collage. Scratching and scraping, pouring and dripping paint to try to capture the landscape and elements, with the change in light and mood.
I hope to take time out from floral design this year, to paint the flowers and the flower garden. As the flower garden grows, so does the motivation to capture day-to-day life in my little slice of Cornish countryside near Helston.
